These are placed on the outer surface of the teeth without being attached to them, and act by applying pressure in a certain manner to move the teeth where we need them to go.
Invisalign looks far better, almost invisible. You can also remove it at will, meaning tooth brushing and flossing are much easier, and you can easily remove it when you have a wedding, graduation or any other special occasion. Plus, the aligners are entirely computer made. This means they have incredible accuracy, and on average are faster than traditional braces.
How much is the cost related to Invisalign
You would think a system with so many advantages is quite pricy, but you would be wrong. Invisalign in most cases cost just about the same as regular braces. On average, Traditional braces range from $3000 to $7000, depending on how complex the case is and how much time it would take to complete the treatment. Invisalign almost has the same range, from $4000 to $7500. On paper, they may seem similar, but when you dig a bit deeper, you find that such cost for Invisalign is an absolute bargain. We already established that it looks better, is more comfortable and more accurate. Add to that the fact that it takes much less time to complete, and requires very few visits to the orthodontist during the treatment – an average of 1 visit every 2 months – and you’ll come to the conclusion that Invisalign cost is really not that high.
