Using Insurance For Orthodontics
Many offices do not accept orthodontic insurance, or they only accept a very limited number of plans. Therefore, the patient is responsible for more out-of-pocket costs.
At Petrous Orthodontics, we’re premier providers for the vast majority of PPO insurance to ensure that our patients receive the highest possible service and care at the most affordable out-of-pocket costs. Plus, there is never a problem if your employer changes insurance carriers. If this happens, we may be able to bill both insurances to maximize your coverage.

FAQ About Orthodontic Financing
Absolutely! Our administrative team has extensive experience dealing with HSAs, FSAs, and HRAs to allow your family to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for your out-of-pocket dental expenses. Our team will help you plan ahead if you have one of these plans and can help you strategize how to utilize them to benefit you best.
Your first set of retainers is included in the cost of your orthodontic treatment.
We don’t bait and switch, we don’t up-sell, we don’t nickel and dime. We are super transparent, especially when it comes to fees. The price we quote you at your initial consultation covers your entire treatment. We don’t charge for broken brackets, extra appointments, exceeding the estimated treatment time, or your first set of retainers — our treatment plans are all-inclusive.
Unlike many orthodontic offices, we don’t charge more for Invisalign than for braces. Same cost, same amount of treatment time, and same quality end results. In some more minor cases, Invisalign may even be less!

What Will My First Visit Be Like?

Our team will take records, and you’ll have 1-on-1 personalized attention from one of our doctors, in which you will hear all of your options along with our recommendations. You will leave your consultation with a good understanding of whether or not orthodontic treatment makes sense for you, what options you have, and detailed financial information so that you can make the best decision for you.
